Charles Law, a.k.a. Claw

About.

Hi, I’m Charles, but most people call me Claw. I like understanding how things work — and figuring out how they could work better for people.

Background

I’m a software engineer in Los Angeles with a background in electrical and systems engineering. Over the past two decades, I’ve worked on radar algorithms, distributed data platforms, and AI systems used in healthcare.

I work between engineering and research, taking ideas from experimentation into production. I enjoy working with researchers and users to understand a problem, build a solution, and improve it based on how it is used.

At Eyenuk, my work has spanned production software, clinical review tools, data quality, and the systems that bring AI into real clinical workflows. That means working with researchers, clinicians, customers, and engineers — and making their feedback part of the product.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and father, a reader, and someone who tends to find another engineering project to tinker with. Some of those experiments are collected on the projects page.
